I love people. They make up my life: my family, my old friends, my new friends. I'm fascinated by the eccentricities of people.
My intention in these paintings is to celebrate the complexity of human nature. I'm beginning to realize that the technique of fragmenting the figure into pieces, as in some of these images, accomplishes this the best, showing the depth and multiplicity of personalities, the many faces we show each other.
